The Worship Ministry at Anthem Thousand Oaks is made up of volunteers who want to use their gifts to glorify and lift the name of Jesus high.

Throughout the week, and during weekend services, we have volunteers playing instruments, singing songs, and using their gifts to bless the church through times of worship to the Lord. The Bible calls us to worship God with our lives, our hearts, our minds, and even to proclaim his name with a song. We love to worship the Lord through singing songs of praise to him and by playing instruments unto him.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:16-17 ESV)

We want to live Colossians 3:16-17 in our lives. We want the word of Christ to dwell in us and to guide the songs that we sing and to guide our gathered times of worship. We sing songs with thankfulness and we desire to see our church, our families, and our friends grow deeper in their praise of Jesus Christ. As a worship ministry, it is our prayer and hope that our team glorifies God through their songs and with their lives.
