In Anthem Kids, our mission is to help kids find their way back to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Who Is Involved?

Every Sunday morning we provide a safe environment for kids (from birth through fifth grade) where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other.

Our volunteers are the heartbeat of our ministry, and it’s an honor to serve with each and every one of them as they love our kids each week! Every volunteer who leads in Anthem Kids has had a background check and is committed to making Anthem Kids a safe, Biblically-relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

How Should I Prep My Kids?

CHECK-IN AND PICK-UP

Each Sunday, you will need to check your child into Anthem Kids. Each campus has a specific procedure for check-in. Either a wristband will be filled out by parents, or parents will be asked to check-in on the computer and print out a name tag for your child or children to wear and a claim tag to present at check-out. Both formats will include your child’s name as well as information regarding any specific allergies. After check-in, parents will walk children to their age-specific classroom. At the end of service, parents will check-out their children by signing them out or checking them out on the computer, then handing the claim tag to the teacher.

Thank you so much for helping us as we strive to make Anthem Kids a safe environment for your kids!

BATHROOM

Please have your child use the restroom before dropping them off in Anthem Kids. Please also let the teachers in the classroom know if your child is potty-training so they can help your child succeed while he or she is away from you!

SERVE

We would love for all of our parents to be a part of our Anthem Kids Team! Pick up an application from the Anthem Kids check-in table at either campus to help make Anthem Church a great place for kids and their families to be!

MY KID IS SICK

To make sure that we keep a safe and fun environment for all the kids, we ask that you keep your child at home if he or she:

  • Has had a fever in the past 24 hours
  • Has thrown up in the past 24 hours
  • Has a productive cough
  • Has a yellow/green runny nose
  • Or has any other contagious illness

Thank you so much in advance for helping keep all of the kids at Anthem Kids healthy!

Curriculum

We use Tru, a dynamic, spiritually forming, and family-empowered ministry philosophy that offers a vibrant weekend curriculum, as well as other family resources that meet the specific needs of today's generation.

Tru is uniquely created to inspire, equip, and support parents and church leaders in their ministry to children. Tru employs a family-empowered ministry model that is God-centered and spiritually forming—through two formats: large group/small group and classroom!

TRUBLESSINGS

TruBlessings offers young children and parents the ability to worship God and be blessed by Him. No child is too young to experience God! HomeFront provides opportunities for families to come together and experience storytelling, God's Word, new family traditions, fun games, recipes, family blessings, prayer, and more.

TRUWONDER

TruWonder reveals the wonder of who God is to preschool and kindergarten children. TRUSTORY

HomeFront provides opportunities for families to come together and experience storytelling, God's Word, new family traditions, fun games, recipes, family blessings, prayer, and more.

special needs

We have a heart to provide a safe and loving community for our kids with special needs. If you believe your child would benefit from the care of a Special Friend, we would love to meet with you to learn how to best support your family and help your child learn to the best of their ability. Please contact Christy Martino at christy@anthemchurch.org to let us know of your needs.

Our Special Friend volunteers have received special training in order to focus solely on your child's individual needs in the classroom. Their focus on a Sunday morning will be to address the needs of your child to assist in integrating them into the traditional Anthem Kids program to the best of their ability.
