By God's grace and for his glory, we are prayerfully preparing to plant a church in Denver, CO. Josh and Courtney Lewis will become the Anthem Denver church planters and will lead the vision of this new church. Josh and Courtney are praying alongside the Anthem family of churches for a team of people to form and move to Denver to begin a new community of Jesus followers.
As we prepare to send off the Lewis' and the Anthem Denver team we will meet once a month to specifically pray for Denver and that God would go before them in their journey.
Join us AUGUST 3RD for our final Anthem Denver Prayer Night.
On Family Worship Sundays we invite the kids, ages 4+ to join us in the worship service for the morning. Our hope for these Sundays is that we can show kids what it looks like to be an active part of the greater body of Christ at Anthem Church. We will sing together, take communion together, hear teaching from God’s word together, baptize together, and ultimately grow together as families! We love Family Worship Sundays!
If you want to know more about our worship ministry and what it looks like to get involved with our team please come out to this meeting. We will spend some time sharing our vision and values for worship at Anthem and then we will have a few minutes of Q&A. This meeting is the place to begin if you are interested in joining the worship team.

We have Advent Guides for our families and kids to go through together this Christmas. Jesus Christ truly is the reason for the Christmas season. This is a great opportunity for families to remember that Christ came to the earth to rescue us and that he will come again to make all things new. We hope for these Advent guides to be one way this Christmas to direct the attention of your family to Jesus.
Last year we had the opportunity to help Thousand Oaks High School provide Christmas gifts for families of students in need. We were able to help seven families have a Christmas that they wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. We have the privilege of helping out again this year!! If you would like to be a part of this opportunity by providing a gift from someone's wish list, please contact Lauri Kreiger at email@example.com or sign up at the info booth in the lobby.
We're celebrating the Lord's goodness and our anniversary as a church. And there are a few things that are unique about that day: (1) we gather all our churches, Camarillo, Thousand Oaks, and Ventura, to celebrate, worship Jesus, and enjoy each other and (2) we invest 100% of our offering that comes in that morning and the following week to our justice, compassion and reproducing church initiatives.
Join us in learning about the different roles in Anthem Kids and what we ask of our volunteers each week in the specific areas they serve. Volunteers are the heartbeat of Anthem Kids and this training is mandatory for all current Anthem Kids volunteers and ANY and ALL who are interested in learning more about joining our team!

This is a Sunday where the body of Christ at Anthem Church is meeting “house to house” if you will. We are excited to take a Sunday and specifically remind ourselves that “the church” is not a building but a gathered group of believers in Jesus Christ. People are gathering in homes, parks, coffee shops and a variety of other venues around Ventura County to worship Jesus, study the Scriptures, take communion and pray together.
On Sunday August 7, Anthem Camarillo, Anthem Thousand Oaks, and Anthem Ventura will not be meeting in their normal buildings, but Anthem Church will still be gathering. We are encouraging families, community groups and groups of friends to gather for worship, studying the Scriptures, prayer, giving and communion wherever you want to meet.
Leadership Community is a time where we meet together for teaching and prayer through our vision and the big picture direction of Anthem Church, then we have breakouts into our ministry areas to discuss the needs and opportunities in each ministry (Students, Kids, First Impressions, Worship and Community Groups).
Who is it for: Leadership Community is for everyone who serves in some capacity at Anthem Church and anyone who is interested in stepping in to a serving role.

On Sundays throughout the year we provide opportunities for parents to publicly commit their devotion to helping their own children find their way back to God. It's a wonderful time of praying over our kids, rejoicing in the parent(s) decision to point their kids to Jesus, and look at some really cute pictures of kids up on our big screens on Sunday morning!
